Catalyst Metox are peroxide initiators of copolymerization of unsaturated polyester resins. They are used mainly with cobalt accelerators to cure at ambient temperature. Suitable for manual and spray lamination. They can be used e.g. for the production of polymeric concrete. Compared to the Metox-50 hardener, they exhibit slightly longer gelling times. Owing to its reduced water content, Metox-50W is recommended for curing gelcoats,
Certain polyester lacquers and others.

TOPCOATS are not designed to be used for swimming pool recoating/ relining applications TOPCOATS contain wax and cure tack free to provide an attractive cosmetic film on the back of composite pieces.
